Off to Grape Places (ABN 91 910 340 415) is based in Australia. This covers our app (app.offtograpeplaces.com) and website (offtograpeplaces.com). Short version: we collect little, we never sell anything, and there are no accounts.
Your app data
Your progress, name (if you enter one), tier, preferences and streak are saved on your own device, in your browser. Clear your browser data or remove the app and it is gone.
Scanning a wine list
If you scan a wine list, your photo or PDF is sent to an outside service that reads the list for us. We keep the wine list we read, not your photo or PDF, and we never link it to you. The list is added to our wine data.
Analytics
We use Plausible to see how the app and site are used in totals. It uses no cookies, does not track you across sites, collects no personal data, and is hosted in the EU.
Email sign-ups
If you enter your email for region guides or wine notes, we store your email and what you asked for, through our email provider Buttondown, with a confirmation step. We never sell it, and you can unsubscribe in one click.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data. No ads. No ad trackers. No account, login or password.
Cookies
The app uses no tracking cookies. The site and email provider set only the essential cookies needed to work.
Adults only
Grape Places is about wine and is for adults of legal drinking age. It is not for children.

If we change this policy we update the date at the top and post the new version here.
